The province of British Columbia has conducted its inaugural Skills Immigration draw for the month of May.

In the recent BC PNP draw on May 7, 2024, 81 foreign skilled workers and graduates were invited to apply. Invitations were extended to candidates with work experience in sought-after fields including Childcare, Healthcare, and Technology.

Candidates selected in the recent BC PNP draw have a 30-day window to submit their applications for permanent residence (PR) to the BC PNP. Those who were not invited to apply will remain in the candidate pool and may anticipate receiving an invitation in the subsequent BC PNP draw.

Selection under BC PNP Draw

British Columbia holds weekly draws through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), usually on Tuesdays. The program extends invitations under two primary immigration streams:
