Fifth BC PNP Round This Month Invites 79 Candidates for Permanent Residency

The province of British Columbia has conducted a recent draw, marking the fifth invitation round through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) for April.

In the latest draw of the BC PNP, invitations were extended to 79 candidates under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate stream. The draw specifically targeted candidates from in-demand sectors in BC, including Childcare, Healthcare, and Construction.

Candidates invited to this BC PNP draw will now have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the BC PNP.

On the other hand, candidates who did not receive an invitation will remain active in the pool of candidates. They can anticipate receiving an invitation in the next BC PNP draw, projected to be conducted on May 08, 2024

BC PNP Draws

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) holds draws every week, typically on Wednesdays. The program currently extends invitations under two immigration streams:

Invitations are issued based on the information provided during the BC PNP application process. Candidates with the highest scores in BC’s points grid, also known as the BC PNP points calculator, are issued an invitation to apply for Canada PR. The draw type, stream, minimum score, and number of invitations are not published beforehand.

80% of applications under the BC PNP are processed within 8-10 months.
